Gosh! No wonder the train departed late.

Having acquired two warehouse buildings (Metcalfe ready built models) from a model shop on Tyneside, shuffling the goods shed and signal box along to where the houses had been, made room for the new warehouses.

On the left rear is Smith and Butler's, then the two new warehouses. The goods shed and out of picture is the signal box.

Now, what names shall I put on the warehouses?

You and Graham make me feel like I should be doing some modelling myself.

It's good to see the layouts developing. I like the picture with the caption On the left rear is Smith and Butler's, then the two new warehouses. The goods shed and out of picture is the signal box. It looks like an early evening scene the way the lighting is. :D

Thanks Maurice. The lighting in the room is rather hit or miss so to speak. I would like to put street lights etc. up, but Lady G is having 'grand ideas' for the house. It may come to the point that I have to dismantle the layout, (especially the Glencairn engine shed side). Hopefully Sovereign Street will 'survive'.

Meanwhile, I shall enjoy it as it is until --------.

Grandson number 3 'in charge ' of Earlsheaton Junction / Fiddle Yard. (The timetable goes out the window!)

Grandson number 1 is mildly interested in trains. He prefers one of our other interests -- Road Transport.

There are no complaints from me.

I have been around and in road transport since since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. It is great that someone else is interested as well. :D

As for 'my assistant' at Earlsheaton Junction; he is hardly away. It is a little while since I have run trains to a timetable. :(

Roll on for when they are older.

Oh! the Granddaughters' want to join in too. Any ideas how we can get six people in the room?

Just how many nook and crannies have you got on your layout, there is so much going on, you make me tired. :D

New 'improved' (hopefully) look to Sovereign Street. Well as far as I am concerned it looks great.

SOVEREIGN ST TRACKPLAN

Is this the current plan or a new proposed one. If it is a new plan it will be very interesting to warch it being developed.
