Currently - one black lab/collie cross, one elderly male Syrian hamster and a collection of gerbils. (one breeding pair, a group of three siblings and two other individual gerbils that don't get on with others) the pair have five or six offspring almost ready to be decanted).

We used to have a house cat, but present circumstances make that not possible at the moment.

Additionally, we normally have several disabled or recuperating hedgehogs - but none at present.

We make a point of feeding birds and providing nestboxes so usually there are many different species to watch.
Presently we have some pheasants that are getting habituated to us as a food source topping up the natural supply, especially over the bad weather this past winter.

I'll add a few doggy tails and some wild bird anecdotes in future posts

You may have read elsewhere in my posts, that I have both tropical and pond fish.

The food I give to my pond fish I also feed to the birds in the garden, according the RSPB this food is ideal for them see HERE

My pond and aquarium are getting more difficult for me to look after them properly so I am not renewing and more fish. I will eventually get rid of my aquarium (now down from 4) I will keep my pond but for plants not fish and any wildlife that care to make home there.

We also have a semi-natural pond and attached boggy area.
Usually, a decent amount of frog/toad spawn, but we are unlikely to have much this year
Recent work on submerging an LPG tank means that the pond will need to be refurbished, as will most of the surrounding area ... including digging more drains.
.
We do have to keep an eye on the dog, he tries to paddle / drink the pond.
