Kathy from A J Canopies have measured up for the Cratch and Tonneau cover. It is due to be fitted in June. While I was there I sorted out our double bed. The centre cabin has always been the one we want for our bedroom. It has two single beds in it which can be fitted with cot sides so are convenient for the Grand Kids. Our plans to rebuild it with and extending double have been put on hold.

We decided to copy the arrangement we have seen in some hire cruisers where you put supports on the edge of the two beds and drop panels into the middle.

Then the mattress on the left hand bed can be slide into the middle complete with pillows, sheets and quilt (we'll actually use a double one). This is my proud mother with the bed. She provided the extra hands needed to hold up the supporting wood while I drilled and screwed it all in place.

The last picture makes me rather sad as my dear old Mum is in a home with severe dementia now. She used to come with me on maintenance trips. I didn't get so much work done but had some good quality time with Mum.

Whilst it is very upsetting Graham, you still have those good memories and they can't be taken away. :D
