We sorted out our lounge. The old sofa/bed and table are in the tip (I mean the re-cycling centre of course). The new one is from Sit and Sleep. Their site http://www.sitandsleep.co.uk/ is good as it quotes all the dimensions and the size of box things come in so you can figure out if it fits and if it will go through the door. We've carpeted the lounge and installed the sofa. It is very comfy both for sitting and sleeping. The back is a bit interesting as a clever piece of wood work you can vary the angle of the back. Here it is installed:-

Hindsight is a wonderful thing of course as since then we have had to replace the padding as it sagged badly and now are thinking of replacing it all again with two sofa chairs. I struggle with the fact that the sofa bed faces the wall but the TV is in the corner and I have to sit on the end furthest from the TV as I can focus on the other side of the universe but anything closer than that is difficult. Well with glasses I can do about 7 ft! The end result plays havoc with my back.

Cheers Graham

Yes this also amazes me, I can see the stars etc. and yet I have to wear glasses to read something that is only a few inches away ???
