Interesting report which seems to imply wecare headimg for bio or synthetic fuels with net zero CO2.

It doesn't mention canal craft but the requirements on small craft in this country apply to all craft regardless of the water they float on.

Cheers Graham

Could be Good News is prices don't rise, or at least not too much. Also consider engine modification/replacement costs and efficiency.

The energy density of bio or synthetic fuels is less than normal diesel so there will be a range impact. Apparently there are also maintenance issues with the fuel causing some internal damage. Most diesels should run ok.

I had some experience of these things with my Triumph Herald and Spitfire. Converting to unleaded required new valve inserts but I then had fuel leak problems as the fuel rotted the fexible lines!

Cheers Graham
