If you have any photographs in your Personal Albums in the Gallery that you want to add in a post on the forum you can do it by following these instructions.

The examples shown are for a picture from one of my albums, so do bear in mind that your links will look a bit different but will follow the same format.

Allowed file types are jpg, gif and png, so your links will also vary in appearance if they are gif or png.

To help presentation, don't forget to leave a blank line between images and also allow for text.

It might help to open these instructions in a new tab or new window when using them.

In your Personal Album in the Gallery

Select the image that you want to post.

Click on the thumbnail, the small image to enlarge it.

and you will get this

Right click on the image and scroll down and click on copy image address.

In the Forum

Then go to your post right click and select paste and it should look similar to one of these

Highlight the link

Image

Then click on Img in the small grey box above the post - this will add the image square brackets.

Image

Make sure that the image brackets [ ] are as shown as above.

You have done it

Normally you should be able to post 10 pictures in your post, providing there are no other links in it (maximum number of links in any post is 10)

As usual if you have any comments, corrections, additions or advice on these instructions please post them or contact me.

Hi Maurice. I like the picture. A calming influence.

As for moving pictures from one site to another, following your instructions, success!

Don't tell anyone I can do it, otherwise they might want me 'to help them'.

Once again Many Thanks

David

Thanks David.

Glad to be of help. You are an expert now. :D

The picture is Widnes, West Bank, on the St. Helens (Sankey) Canal. Unfortunately the canal is not navigable and the boats are only moored there until they sail on the River Mersey. This album that it is taken from is HERE
