Apparently they plan to manage the coastline at Fairbourne with managed retreat. Up to 400 homes may be lost by 2055. They haven't mentioned it but the railway would go first. See http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-nort ... s-26491477

No matter what they do, they shouldn't do it without proper consultation.

The railways is already in crisis funding but it will be a shame if it is lost to the sea, as it will be for the homes.
