From the old Alcoy and Gandia Railway and Harbour Company Ltd a English made steam engine with yours truly on the footplate.
Permanently displayed outside the present Gandia railway station just a few miles up the road from where I live. 60 tons PA of British coal were exported to Gandia

Great picture, hopefully the loco is treasured for what it is and for its heritage. Is it an 0-6-0 (or as it is classed on the continent 0-3-0) or are there some very small wheels at the back inside the frame.

Britain in its heyday exported many types of locomotives all over the world

This loco has a similar appearance to a French built Corpet Louvet. This a G Scale Model of the Louvet.

Check this site out
http://trenag.com/english/?paged=4

I used to do guided walking tours on the remains of the track, stations etc. from the port up to Lorcha.
I have a DVD of the line in use filmed, by a British enthusiast, within three weeks of closure all the rails and lattice work bridges had been sold off and scrapped.
