Post subject:  Unwritten Rules For The Railway Modeller

Some unwritten rules: just for fun with tongue in cheek though not for the purists who will possibly cringe at them.

It's my layout, I will run what I want. when I want, how I want, and if you don't like it, well it doesn't really matter.
If it looks right, then it is right.
If you don't like it, don't look.
I will ask for your opinion if I want it, but I don't.
If all else fails, there is always a hammer.
Always have a swear box to hand when working, it's surprising how quickly you can save up for that new loco.
If it looks right from 10 feet away, then it is. ( For garden railway modellers)

These rules risk justifying bad habits.

As far as I am concerned it's each to his own after all we should all be railway modellers in our own way and respect those that may not agree with us. :D
