My dear lady and I went curio hunting in Hungerford today. I went along to have a look for anything made of brass or something like that. I saw a box of trains for £30.

Jo proposed £25 and they agreed on £27.

This lot were in the box.

I have a thing about Princesses.

I now have a fair amount of stock which won't run on modern track. I feel an old fashioned railway coming!

Cheers Graham

Looks interesting, what is the green and red loco?

I have a spare controller if you need one Graham.

Thanks for the offer but I think I'm alright for power. The red and green engine is an airfix kit of the City of Truro. Cheers Graham

Thanks, I had an idea it was the 'Truro' but wasn't sure of the manufacturer.

OK the plan for the new railway.

1) sell classic car - complete
2) clear garage - underway
3) Dismantle and move current railway
4) Start massive rebuild of current railway and add 'classic' railway to it.

This is going to take a while - ideally I will never finish so I always have something to do.

I know people say railways are never finished but I get bored with little modifications after a while and tend to throw the thing away and start again. The current railway is the 9th.

Cheers Graham

Sound very interesting, apart from sorting out the garage. I agree you can only go so far with modifications that's one of the reasons I started the N layout.

Start a new thread and please give us updates. :D
