A short history of the new layout.

When the Calder Railway built the line to Sovereign Street they passed Crown Point. Here they built a small yard prior to arriving at Sovereign Street (and Leeds LNWR Goods Yard)

North Road has gone in the rebuild. 'Roseville School' is there instead. The building is a Metcalfe station building modified.

The railing is Gaugemaster 'sandwiched' between brick card.

Thanks, Maurice.
When I was a lad and stayed with my Aunt and Uncle in Earlsheaton, across the road was a small school just like 'Roseville'. The main difference it was built in stone.

'Ada' A coal barge at 'the new Clarence Dock

Clarence Dock.

There is still a lot to do. Even 'Ada' the coal barge has to be 'christened' and her name applied.
