Hi Branchline. Thanks for enquiring. Things have rather changed a little on Sovereign Street. A new station building - more in keeping with the area - has been built, along with a new platform. I am now in the process of building a bridge to form a continuous run for the locomotives 'to warm up'.

Brown and White's moved to where Hudson Ward's was.

Hudson Ward is now where the Goods Shed was, and T & J Harrison's is next door

You have managed to get a lot in the space you have, there's plenty going on.

Leeds Sovereign Street, (Its Sunday name,) is from the level crossing 4ft long by 1ft 10ins. I wanted to get the feeling I got as an eight year old, the almost claustrophobic atmosphere, walking to Sovereign Street for the bus to Dewsbury.

It wasn't too bad during the day, but I used to return back to Leeds at 7-8pm. Even in later years as a 15/16 year old I didn't dawdle.

On Sovereign Street layout many of the Private Owner wagons are from the Leeds - Dewsbury area. The wagons are of family members. I find it brings individuality to the layout; and besides, the grandchildren like to see 'their wagons' on the layout. Here are a few ---
