BOATS AND CANALS

I have been on a spending spree. I bought -- Barging round Britain with John Sergeant and David Bartley, (reduced from £20.00 to £6.00).
The Canal Builders by Anthony Burton. It was £8.50 reduced to £2.99
I also managed to pick up Bradshaw's Handbook 1861. A similar book to the one Maurice bought only mine is a second edition. It was reduces from £20.00 to £6.00

I shall be busy reading.

I Cannot Afford the Luxury of a Negative Thought

I have two of the three, my copy of Barging round Britain was free though, I won it in a competition held by the Canal and Rivers Trust, although I can't remember entering one.

The canal builders sounds like an interesting volume.
