This book was published in 1972, another age, as you can see I paid 25p for it second hand, the published price was 40p. It is Frederic's account of a journey from Nottingham to Liverpool via the L/L canal. A fascinating insight into canal/river cruising 40 years ago. Beautifully written and highly descriptive of the area covered.
This my third reading of this book which I have greatly enjoyed.
If you wish to order it from your local library it does not appear to have an isbn number the first publisher,in hardback, was Allan Wingate (publishers) 1971.

A great bargain at a little over half of the original price. The older books can be very interesting in helping to see what changes have taken place.
