I am sure we have all come across drained or low canals. What interests me is that this one has become the top mostly read article on the BBC.

Interesting I don't recall seeing any advisory e-mail notice from the Canal and Rivers Trust.

They probably filled it quite quickly so didn't send a notice out.

There was a problem with low levels lasting days beneath Banbury lock which included a boat stuck in a lift bridge for a good few hours and I don't think that got in the notices either.
