The application forms are out.

The end this time is at Oldbury Top Lock. I can see that being a bit chaotic.

Laurie is going to have to do a few more locks than usual.

Cheers Graham

Yep it should be quite a problem with all those extra locks. I've managed to sort out the takeaways and pub. I'll work out the route nearer the time.
:)

Just out of curiosity I would like to see the routes that you plan and after the event any changes that you made for one reason or another. :I do have all the relevant guides and maps. :D

( If you are keeping them secret after the event will be suitable)

The route planner isn't out yet, they vary the scoring system slightly from year to year. Certain start points are worth more than others. I'll dig out last year's plan when I get home ( I'm in Nero's right now). It was based on the metrics from the first year and was surprisingly accurate.

Cheers Graham

I didn't realise it varied year by year, but I will appreciate a copy of last years either by e-mail or by posting it. If you can't post it and you want me to I will find a way to do it. Thanks Graham, oh! by the way, enjoy your coffee. :D

I've emailed Maurice a copy of the rules and my plan.

My plan last year was really based on two ideas - Firstly a start at Old Turn Junction as we needed to pick up crew and secondly I wanted to do the Titford Pools. The rest of the route fell as a result of those initial decisions.

Cheers Graham

Apparently the stoppage at Pratt's Mill Aqueduct is likely to extend until the end of May. Not that I'm saying I was going that way but I might have been. Sulk.

Cheers Graham
