John Sergeant was interviewed this morning on BBC Breakfast. the topic was his TV programme Barging Around Britain, I got the impression that it was to be screened by ITV on Thursdays at 20:00.

What I am not sure about is, is this a rerun of the old programmes or a new series. Any ideas, I can't seem to find anything about it yet.

Looks like a new series, started Thursday with Peak Forest canal from Bugsworth to Ashton some good bits but enough history and interest on this canal to fill half a dozen programs. Apparently JS has got the hump with criticism from canal enthusiasts with the barging bit!

I have it set to record the whole series. The first programme was only 22 minutes long, not long enough as far as I am concerned.
