After 5 years of trying, it finally looks like we've sold the house (so someone else can watch the trains !), unfortunately our house purchase as fallen through so it looks like we'll be spending a few months on "Titus" while we look for somewhere on dry land to live.
Our mooring (nice as it is) does not have electricity or water, the nearest water being a pleasant 2 hour cruise to Skipton. Titus is equipped with a Whispergen generator and all mod cons but we just wondered if anyone had any advice re the next 3 or 4 months onboard, we've found out where the local launderette is but we both still work part time so we can't go off cruising.
Any advice would be welcome

Dave

Hi Dave

I am sorry I can't give any advice but I can give you my best wishes for things to turn out well for you.

What a shame that you will be leaving your 12 inch to the foot garden layout behind, although it might have been a nuisance for you.

Hi Dave

Keith, who is a live-a-board, hasn't visited us for quite a while and I am not sure when he will again. Currently he is having major health problems. As far as I am aware non of our current active members are live-a-boards.

Will you be a continuous cruiser?

We'd like to be but we both still have part time jobs so we'll be wandering around but still coming back to our home mooring a lot.

So you will be keeping your mooring?

Yes we'll be keeping our mooring unless we're still there in winter and then we might have to look for something with electric

Have you got solar panels?, I know they will be limited in winter.

Yes we've got a couple of solar panels that keep the fridge going.

Where are your moorings at the moment?
