I saw this on my local news news. Hopefully there is no major major damage to the local wildlife both in and out of the water.

Original message:

Due to a request from the Manchester police service we are required to de water a section of canal between locks 91 – 92 on the Rochdale canal, to facilitate these works we will need to close the Lock flight from Locks 84 to 92 until the works are completed.

Locks 84 – 92 will be closed between 9am and 1pm tomorrow, Wednesday 8th April
