There's a hire boat sunk at Higherland Lock at Gargrave on the Leeds & Liverpool.
It would appear that it was going up the lock alone and went diagonally across the
lock causing the back end to get stuck by the gate as the lock filled.
No-one was hurt but the lock will be out of action for a few hours
(sorry didn't have my camera with me)

No doubt I will get an e-mail from CRT shortly reporting it. The main thing is though is that no-one was hurt, other than pride possibly.
