I thought the photo's very interesting.
BUT.
These decaying and delapidated buildings etc' belong to someone, even if it's the local council and they should be responsible either for there maintaince or demolision and in the least keeping the area tidy and in a reasonable state.

Don't you agree?

The old Gunpowder Mills looked especially worth rescuing. Some classic examples of industrial heritage going to waste. Fascinating photos though.

Very informative site,

Some items if interest for me are, the canal system, the narrow gauge railway, the 300 years of history and of course the rocket vault.
