We set off at 7:20 and were at Rushall Junction at 8 for our start, we did the Thame valley, Walsall, Wryley and Essington to the Cannock Extension and Angsley Branch, then down the Rushall doing the locks on the dark. Set off again at 4:41, now going up Ashton locks heading for the finish.

Cheers Graham
You and your crew are doing us fine. :D

We arrived at Oldbury locks virtually on time but met a queue. We got too the top about 3 mins late, we were awarded an on time arrival. Moored now at the top after a quick trip to Titford Pools. We had a quick chat with Laurie and Alison and amused everyone by using the kiddies car we pulled put of the Thame Valley Canal to transport the two tyres, fire extinguisher, gas bottle and traffic cone we found. A full report will follow when I'm home.

Cheers Graham

Home now, we did 218 locks and I don't know how many miles. I'll try and write it up in my Blog tomorrow. I have bow camera videos and a number of photos.

I'm really tired!

Cheers Graham

It all depends on what he was trying to achieve.

This hints at a lower position or maybe not. The main thing is not what position you came in, but entering into the spirit of the challenge and enjoying yourself as much as possible, even you do stuck etc. in the process :D
