Matthew Corbett did a good presentation of Leeds Liverpool over a number of programmes. It was far more interesting.

i thought like most of you,that more time could be spent about the actual waterway they were on,
and why have someone who seems to know little about the waterways,but is just well known to lots of people.
we will just have to see how the rest of the series goes.

i did enjoy timothy west and pru last year.

Oh dear! oh dear!

I don't feel that John Sergeant does the programme justice, I feel that his presentation style leaves a lot to be desired.

What is the programme supposed to be about, so much has been missed out, why didn't the following get a mention?

He actually rode on the Llangollen Railway before he got into Llangollen.

I know this canal very well having cruised on it many time and also with my many cycle rides to Llangollen. I was very disappointed with this episode.

If you ever go to Llangollen it is worth taking the walk from the wharf to the falls,

I can only echo everyones opinion. It showed nothing at all, Grindly brook, Chirk aquaduct & tunnel, Ellsmere basin, Horseshoe falls and like Lancastrian said all very important to the canal. It just did not give this wonderfull canal the Justis it deserves.
