It’s a very unique raving opportunity - a drained canal chamber at Deansgate Locks.
Lock 91, which forms part of the Rochdale Canal, is being opened up for one night only for the world’s first DJ set to take place in a drained lock.
Visitors will be able to dance to Hacienda classics played by DJ Just Jane, 14ft below the ground in the chamber.
Lock 91 and Lock 90 are both being drained by the Canal and River Trust to show members of the public the essential works being carried out by the charity.
