The Lancaster canal is now closed in two places as a hole has be discovered near to the Lune Aqueduct

The aqueduct has been drained and repairs are being undertaken.

Estimated repair time is now 5 weeks,thee holes have now been found in the bed of the canal near to the aqueduct.
