One of the lads in the choir told me about it on Sunday evening, i said it happens about 4or5 times a year. and my neighbour across the road showed me the press release yesterday. So yes it is happening far too much, and it leave others inconvenienced, and a day lost on the trip back to your home base arriving late could cost you a days lost work time aswell. The main consolation is that there were no serious injuries.

What is surprising is that they are experienced boaters so it goes to prove that everyone HAS to treat locks with the respect they deserve.
