Canal and River Trust have put together a map showing their definition of places. The maps are intended to help monitor continuous cruising. I wonder if they will apply it to those with a permanent mooring. We often moor in the same locations on our cruises, for example we nearly always moor above Hillmorton locks on our way up the Northern Oxford Canal. Their system could show as as having been in the same place for over 14 days despite the fact that we had cruised considerably and been moored at Calcutt in the meantime.
